Why Carnet de Bord exists
Professional driving demands rigour, responsiveness and reliable tools. We bring the essentials together in one app — without multiplying interfaces or compromises on compliance.
Carnet de Bord brings together in a single application the essential tools of the professional driver: CSR compliance and time tracking, CB communication between drivers, heavy goods vehicle navigation and document management with AI assistance.
Our ambition: the same standard as the best transport business apps — clear interface, useful daily features, compliance with Regulation (EC) No. 561/2006 and strong personal data protection.

Origin
Born on the road, refined with the field
Carnet de Bord started from a simple observation: on the road, drivers juggle multiple tools — tachograph, GPS, messaging, paperwork — while their job demands focus and compliance.
We designed the app in dialogue with drivers and operators: every screen aims to reduce friction, not add complexity. Field feedback feeds the public roadmap and regular updates.
Today, Carnet de Bord covers Android, the web portal and is preparing iOS rollout. The goal remains the same: a reliable, readable road companion aligned with European regulations.

CSR & driving time
Time tracking, alerts, driver card import (C1B) and payroll simulator — to stay aligned with European regulations.
Truck GPS
Routes adapted to HGV constraints, useful POI search and cab-oriented navigation — with fallback when mapping services are not configured.
Community CB radio
Listen and take part in CB conversations between drivers on the road. Internet connection required for real-time audio streaming.
Documents & AI assistance
Centralised proofs, expiry reminders and input assistance — so you no longer lose a document at the end of the day.
Technical
Development & infrastructure
Project led by Albert Beweb. Mobile app in Flutter, Firebase sync, Laravel site and portal, API on European infrastructure. Security: AES-256-GCM encryption, GDPR compliance, one-click account deletion from the app.
